The Crown Glass Shopping Centre, Nailsea is inviting local dancers, dance teachers, and dance schools to ‘trip the light fantastic’ and get on their dancing shoes for their “Get Up, Get Dancing’ event in May.
The event – scheduled to take place on Friday, 29 May – welcomes dancers of all disciplines – from Ballroom to Ballet; Tap to Tango, Salsa to Street and Jazz to Jitterbug to come along and dance in the Centre.
Individual dancers, couples or groups can show shoppers visiting the Centre their nifty moves and dance teachers and dance schools can organize taster sessions and get shoppers trying out some music and movement.
“This is a great opportunity for local dancers to showcase their talent and for local teachers and schools to promote their classes,” says Charlotte Jarrett, Centre Manager of the Crown Glass Shopping Centre. “With ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ proving to be so popular on TV, there is a lot of interest in dance at the moment and we are sure that this event will attract a lot of attention from local ‘movers’ and ‘shakers’.
