More in STORE at The Crown Glass Shopping Centre

Recent lettings at the Crown Glass Shopping Centre in Nailsea underline the increasing popularity of this North Somerset community Shopping Centre.

Costa Coffee has taken a unit  in Somerset Square where there will also be providing some additional outside seating.

Regular costumers are invited to sign up to Costa’s own loyalty scheme. For every £1 spent in store, Loyalty Club members receive five points, with each point being worth a penny to enjoy against their full range of food and drinks. Costa chain consists of more than 1,755 stores and 3,000 Costa Express machines in the UK.  It is also the second largest coffee shop operator in the world,”

Nailsea Cycles have taken a unit in Clevedon Walk and will be joining Cohen’s Chemists, who’ve recently relocated at 9 Colliers Walk.

Local entrepreneurs,  Lorna Dukes and Melina Snell, winners of the recent “Win a Shop” Competition will also be opening their  Young Possum’s Imaginarium  concept children’s  play café which will offer an environment for safe and stimulating play for the
children of Nailsea. It is anticipated that Young Possum’s Imaginarium will be launched in mid-June.

“It is reassuring to see that Crown Glass Shopping Centre is being recognised as a strong commercial location for both national brands and local specialists,” says Centre Manager, Charlotte Jarrett.  “Our landlords, Ellandi, have a long term strategy to enhance the Centre and this mixture of high quality and speciality shopping provides an attractive community shopping environment for loyal and new visitors to the scheme.”

These lettings mean that only four shop units remain unlet at the Crown Glass Shopping Centre demonstrating level of occupancy well above the UK national average.

Landlords Ellandi have also invested over £500,000 in the refurbishment of previously unlet offices – Sycamore House is currently under offer to the Churchill Retirement Fund and Wessex Water have recently moved into the high quality suite at 21 Somerset Square.

Construction is also under way in other parts of the Centre converting redundant office space into apartments.
